Hooty Hoo is dedicated to my family-- a tribute to my past-- a journal of the present-- and inspiration for the future!
i'm currently sitting at work...my first two exercise classes did not show up...keeping my fingers crossed that the last class will come!
so far, while i've sat here i have...
- caught up on all the latest and important celebrity news by reading the newest people magazine, cover to cover.
- checked all my email accounts...and had no new emails! nothing...nada...zip!
- made a few changes to my blog...new layout (not very different from the old)...changed the color scheme...pretty exciting, eh?
- caught up on everyone's blogs
and now i'm pretty much out of things to do!
what do you do when you're bored???
update:
since i originally posted i have also:
- been 0 for 3 in people showing up for the exercise class i was supposed to teach! boo!
- created a fall conditioning plan for the softball team
- made a new form for patient charts to use at work
- talked to my mom
- flipped through the new TIME magazine
- checked my email about 25 more times...still no new mail!
i guess i'm keeping busy at being bored!
i have decided that i much rather read other people's blogs then write my own...
here is who i've been reading lately...
1. annieblogs.com- hilarious, inspiring, and encouraging! annie might just be the funniest person i don't know! :)
2. lanie beth's blog- a great mix of home improvement, fun, and godly insight
3. jenny's blog- keeping up with the daily life of addison road's jenny brings joy to my life!
4. young house love- love love love this DIY blog!
check these out if you're in need of a good laugh...some encouraging words...or some expert home improvement tips!
i'm too busy to blog...
i know that's the lamest excuse EVER...but sadly, it's the truth...
hope to be back soon!
some very great friends of mine have had birthdays this week...
happy birthday ashley...aimee...and courtney!
hope your birthdays have been as wonderful as you all are!
i am wore out! i just got home from spending the day at our district wrestling meet!
12 hours...1 gym
14 wrestlers...9 advancing to regionals
it was awesome, but exhausting! i am so proud of my boys!
can't wait to do it all again next weekend at regionals!
you've all probably heard the news about michael phelps and his less than brilliant decision that has made headlines world wide...
i was bummed to hear the news, but sadly, not really surprised. we so quickly put people with athletic greatness or other talents on to a pedestal, elevating them above the rest of world...forgetting that they're still real people who make mistakes...then as quickly as we have exalted them, we bash them...
i read something written about the incident that really got me thinking...if you get a second, check out what cj mahaney had to say here! it definitely changed my thoughts on the situation...
